The doorbell is white with a blue button which lights up when pressed. Included are two white wireless chimes with white leds and they connect directly to a UK socket

The doorbell is opened by pressing the included flat head screwdriver in the top hole and prying off the top clasp. Inside the doorbell is a single circuit board powered by a standard doorbell battery. The doorbell can be mounted either with the included double-sided foam adhesive or with the included wall plugs and screws.

The chimes are to be installed within the receiving range of 100m in open space or 30m if obstacles are present. Each chime has 4 adjustable volume levels and cycle buttons for choosing the desired chime. In all there are 52 chimes, I listened to about 30 of them and only a few seem suitable for use. Many of them are akin to ringtones, playing a full verse of a song. However I did like the idea of the Christmas themed chimes and the dog barking chime.

What is in the box:

In the box are the two white chime receivers, the doorbell unit, small flat head screwdriver, double-sided foam adhesive, wall plugs, screws and user manual.

Build quality:

The build quality of the doorbell is very good; it is waterproof with a rubber seal surrounding the two sections unit. The circuitry of the internals is functional but the use of a spring as an antenna seems a bit cheap and the spring holding the battery is a bit weak. The build quality of the chimes is very good, the sound quality is not brilliant, but this is a doorbell after all.

Cons:

- Circuitry could be improved

- Many chimes are too long

Conclusion:
In conclusion I think this product is very good as a doorbell. I do like that there is a big selection of chimes to choose from, but many of them don’t seem relevant for a doorbell. The product functions very well and I like not having to open up the unit to change the chime like on my previous doorbell. The quality of the circuitry could be better, but so far it has performed excellently.

The led desk lamp is black with a glossy hard plastic base and head which are connected by a flexible neck with a soft silicon exterior. The lamp is mains powered by an ac adapter with a lead measuring 1.5 metres. The lamps overall weight is significantly lighter than non led desk lamps and it supports 3 brightness settings.

I have this lamp on my desk to provide suitable lighting when I am working on my laptop in the evenings. The light is sufficiently bright and the touch sensor button is very cool. When moving the lamp it rubs on the desk as the padding is only thick enough for a stationary position.

What is in the box:

In the box is the desk lamp, ac adapter, user manual and a light blue cleaning cloth.

Build quality:

The build quality of the desk lamp is very good, however due to the weight of the head it is not a very stable structure in long reaching positions. The quality of the ac adapter is also very good; however I’d have liked to see some sort of brand etched on the blank panel.

Pros:

+ Touch sensor control

+ 3 brightness modes

Cons:

- Base padding could be thicker

- Likely to topple when altered

Conclusion:

Overall I am very pleased with this desk lamp. It is sufficiently bright and energy efficient too. I like that it has adjustable brightness modes and that you can flex the light to any position. Also I find the touch sensor light to be very cool and futuristic. The main downside is only apparently when shifting the light around your desk and just teaches me to pick the unit up first. I highly recommend this product; it is a great addition for any office desk.

VicTsing 2L Air Dehumidifier

The dehumidifier is smaller than other dehumidifiers I have used. This one is a portable unit which has a 2 litre capacity and it automatically turns off when it is full. The top of the unit has a carry handle which makes it more portable and it has a removable bacteria filter which is used for purifying the air. The battery of the unit has a blue window so you can see how full the tank has got and also there is the on/ off switch. The front of the unit has three led’s for indicating power, ionization and full warning.

I have used this in the outside shed which contains a three person sauna. The shed gets quite humid during and after the sauna has been used and this humidifier help prevent the shed from going rot and growing mould. The device it reasonable quiet, however this is not a concern for me as the unit is not being used indoors. I leave this device on for about two hours each time the sauna has been used. It has been used a few times and gathered a lot of water.

The box contains the dehumidifier, two part ac adapter with power brick (similar to a laptop charger) and a user manual.

Built quality

The humidifier is very well built, it is a solid unit made from hard plastic.

Conclusion:

Overall I am happy with this product, it certainly has its work cut out for it and it is doing an excellent job.

This cooling mist humidifier separates into two sections; the upper part acts like a lid and contains a hole for the diffused liquid to escape. The lower part contains the changeable light and the workings for diffusing the water. It is powered by the included ac mains adaptor and it requires cold water to operate.

I have used this diffuser to keep the air fresh and scented in my room. The lower section is filled with the included jug from a cold tap and you can add which scent you desire. Replacing the lid and turning it on, the vapours are generated a diffuse into the air. The diffuser has two buttons: the left one is used to cycle between the different colours and the right one is for setting the time to run the diffuser for. This product is very quiet in operation as looks very good with it wood grain finish.

The box contains the wood grain diffuser, ac mains adaptor, mini jug and user manual.

Build quality:

This product is reasonably well built, despite the wood grain finish it is actually made mostly from plastic; however this is a suitable material for a product which involves water. Assuming it is kept in a suitable location and the weekly maintenance is followed it should last several years.

+ Easy to use

Cons:

I have no cons for this product

Conclusion:

Overall I think this is a very good product; it looks very good and it is easy to use.

This essential oil diffuser is designed to quietly run and diffuse water vapor mixed with a few drops of essential oils into the air. It separates into two sections; the upper part acts like a lid which contains a hole for directing the escaping vapor; the lower part contains the changeable light and the workings for diffusing the water. It is powered by the included ac mains adapter and it requires cold water to operate.

This dissfuser makes for a lovely gift, I have given it to my Mum who has used it to scent her room with lavender. However I am not too keen on its design as it looks like an automatic air freshener.

Build quality:

This product is made of plastic which is a good choice for a product that involves water. It is quite tall which makes it prone to being knocked over. As long it is placed sensible it should work for many years.

- Easy to knock over

- Looks like a air freshener

Conclusion:

This diffuser is very good at diffusing the scent of your essential oils into the air. It is somewhat quiet (with a little whiring and dripping) and the diffused vapor looks pleasing. However I am not too keen on the design of this product, I think it should have been shorter and not look so much like an air freshener.
